Interior Design Flair
Somebody stop me! I’m getting the urge to paint walls in my home again!
Joking aside, I am feeling a bit of inspiration bubbling to life inside of me. Right now, I don’t know that I have the time to repaint a room in the house, but I like feeling inspired. An inspired creative is a healthy creative.
It wasn’t long ago that I did a massive redecorating of nearly my entire home. My roommates moved out, giving me opportunity to really make use of the space all my own, so I seized it. While my rent went up, it was around a time of promotion for me. Additionally, my horse was off at another barn being leased by another rider. The financial runway was abruptly cleared for me to make some changes. Of course, I’m not rich, but when it comes to redoing an interior space, there’s a lot that can be accomplished with just a coat of paint.
My little home needed a lot of help, but every story has a starting point, and this was mine:
I’ve always felt a little flair for interior design and architecture. As a kid, I married that flair with my passion for horses and would spend hours designing and laying out my own barns. For my home project, it was fun to bring make-believe to life in a very real way that I still enjoy and that has serviced me brilliantly, especially through the COVID-19 pandemic. #homeoffice
